The AM&S Generation Hagstrom Guitars...

This section was supposed to be purely to provide pictorial representations of the new models. I have gone into a little detail here, for specific reasons on this model, but I have not played the new models yet. There is a dedicated site to visit with much more information. www.hagstromguitars.com

The HIII / F300 Futura / or even The Scandi were the Single Coil Strat Blasters
 - (originals confused by name and development!)
Moving on from that F200P (oh yeeeaaas), we have the incarnation of three pu's for Hagstrom 21st Century. Definitely not a reissue, but another combination model.

The new pickguard will guard against any picky lawsuits, as truth be known the Scandi was the closest Hagstrom may have come to falling out with Fender, however as a distributor of Fender, they decided the USA would never officially receive that model. (Read it and weep...)

So when we consider what we have here we need to bring in the heritage of both these predecessors.

Take the pu's the model to our left has those distinctive hallmarks of layout, yet the better known old F300 has the original Hagstrom style. Add to this the adopted selector style (the odd part about the Scandi), and here we go.

So, looking below, we see all these aspects have been revisited to bring us the single coil incarnation this time around, and making the brand image headstock the ability to stand out in the crowd.  ALSO... look at those dials... now we're cooking!

Again remember the original F300 whammy has everything to do with purity, and nothing to do with usefulness, so we pray for this to live up to it's claim!
