In
good condition well worth a thousand dollars today...
some say much more, what ever your limit, these guitars are truly special
in the history of modern guitars,
and the manufacturing transition for the Hagstrom company.
If you feel inclined, beware of shrinkage in the body leading
to loose binding.
Machine heads may have been replaced or suffer from cracking.
Also the interchangeable pickup unit - it is set in a resin
that will make any maintenance extremely tricky, and I don't think your
local store will have replacements (or options) in stock!
Also, be aware of the different Hagstrom "Sparkle" models and
their subtle differences... Oh yes, I did say subtle !

I have it on authority the Standards with single coils are
a brighter sound than the the Deluxe, so...
