A 1971-2 (?) Hagstrom Catalogue: (Basses)

From left to right:

"SWEDE BASS" - Truly a professional precision instrument. Two booming bass pickups covering all ranges of sound required in the music of today. Two 3-position switches as in the "Swede" guitar. Ultra fast ebony neck with beautiful mother of pearl inlays. A rich cherry red, wood grain finish unequalled in its field. Definitely a bass for the discerning musician. CHERRY

"F100B" A de Luxe Single pickup bass. Striking new solid body design. Distinguished for its dramatic depth of tone, adjustable pick-up and quality, this beautiful wood body in high lustre polyester lacquer is the buy of a lifetime.
A live response pickup - Adjustable bridge - Special slimline neck with pat. "H" profile aluminium rod - New tone control and 10 stage volume control - from a whisper to a triple F crescendo,. Chromium plated tuning pegs. Fingerboard with mother-ofpearl inlaid markers. SUNBURST - RED

"F400N" - The counterpart of the F200N guitar. A full-scale bass guitar with a booming bass sound. Again two vigorous pickups, each with a separate volume and tone control. With the 3-position switch, - treble, middle and bass level - it enables the player to produce all the much-coveted bass sounds of today - like the "crack", "hollow", "soft", "floating", "sharp" and "clicking" sounds, plus dozens of individual choices for various purposes. The "On-Off" switch allows the bass player to rest without worrying about discords, and the stand-by position secures a fast change back to sound. Same neck and bridge features as on the HAGSTROM F200N guitar. CHERRY - SUNBURST - BLACK
