Many of you will know I'm no good as a dealer.  I buy them then I can't bear to sell them!

So this is a super - if comical - addition to the Hagstrom UK collection.
Thanks to Bernie for this one (He's one of the best dealers and "parts men" often appearing on web sites and well know auction sites). His son features on this site with an HIIN and some of his fine guitar examples have featured on the site too!

On the right you see a photo of part of an official authorised dealer window sticker - I could not take a good photo as it is still covered in it's protective layer after about thirty years, in perfect condition.

One the left here, another (better known) sticker with a reverse adhesive for sticking onto things; anyway here's a scan of it
- The Swede Headstock

We also have a front adhesive version, but couldn't get a good shot of it without removing the protective face.

On the right one of the famous postcards
celebrating Hagstrom early days and the
wild surrounding countryside...

In October 2004 - there was another acknowledgement of Hagstrom's influence in the Swedish Musical history...
the celebrations of 50 years of rock music!

Within 48 hrs of the issue, I was thrilled to receive the item shown below - a first day cover of the 'Baby Blue' Kent Model, from a couple of very special friends...

How I'd like a set of those!!!
SINCEREST THANKS GO TO THE SAME FRIENDS WHO HAVE SINCE SENT
ME THE COMPLETE SET OF FIRST DAY OF ISSUE CARDS (CLICK HERE)

THE HAGSTROM CLOCKS

My thanks to Kwinn, for passing this on to me, following one of his trips to Sweden.

Only a very few Hagstrom clocks were made by Stefan Nyquist of Alvdalen, Sweden
No longer available, these are probably the most sought after Hagstrom Memorabilia made.

These are "Current Issue" Picks (Thanks Kwinn for the shining USA contingent!!)

A trio of Hagstrom picks circa 1971 - Thanks to Ben for the pick pic!

A Gold Logo with reverse pins for mounting on guitars and equipment...

Some of the items on this page fall into the 'nice to have' category.

Looking to the left here, these dials fall into that category for a reason.

They are basically becoming as rare as "hen's teeth"

There are willing buyers for dials to replace old ones let alone anyone wanting

to have a nice piece of memorabilia!

For some reason the rarest of all are the "Tone" ones...

Go and see how they were made... complicated or what!

Dealer Bits can also be found from time to time. things like The Hagstrom Guitar display stand right out of the music store front window More info and different views can be found HERE.

The Hagström Toolkit - not just collectible, VERY useable too!
They appear on the auction sites from time to time

The Goya version does not!  (This came with a 1960 Hagstrom made Goya Red Sparkle Standard)

How about a new set of Hagstrom Royal-Tone "Rock & Roll" Guitar Strings?

A new "Tremar"?

(pity the bridge isn't there, that's the best bit...

oh yes... of course!)

 The  Hagström Booklet.

You want serial numbers, you want to know how many and when?

These patches and caps were available a short while ago but
were withdrawn from sale due to permission problems.

Now: so you're new to guitars eh?  I've got the perfect book for you...

 Published in 1928

 Front Cover (Close-up)

 Now: Where to start...

 Back Cover

I had to be very careful when scanning this book.
 It is now quite fragile

One of the most affordable collecting items are

the Hard Rock Cafe Guitar Pins.

These are easily available, especially on the e-auction sites,

The first here is a resonator with the London tag.

The second is the Mexico HAGSTROM Pin.

Most HAGSTROM owners have bought or

considered one of these!

Finally, the Stockholm pin.

Shame it's an LP rather than a Swede eh?

(You can make out "Gibson" on the headstock).

There are plenty of advertising memorabilia items around too.
So long as you don't get 'skin'ed they're reasonably priced for the average Hagstrom lover!

OK, so D'Aquisto isn't Hagstrom or visa versa unless there's a Jimmy attached, but that New Yorker - wow!

There's nothing like a REAL original Swedish made Hagstrom (and there are loads around), but if it 'floats your boat', or you can't find an original then who are we to say?

Plenty has been said already and
will be said forever forward probably.
Only you know what's right for you!
